Origin:  Mountains of Peru and Ecuador, 5,000+ ft in elevation

USDA Zone: 8b - 10

Heat & Frost Tolerance:  Can take hot Texas sun with ease.  May need additional water in hottest, driest months.  Frost hardy to about the mid 20s F then put disposable cups on tips to protect.

Growing Habits:  22'+ tall and 6'+ spread, basally branching like Organ Pipe Cactus

Average Growth Rate:  18"+ per year

Bloom:  Creamy white bloom up to approx. 10" in diameter

Location:  Full Sun / Part sun... Can be grown in a container however has much better growth rate in the ground.
